despite the horrendous week, ended with several wonderful moments, esp with the kids
- hanging at the beach chalet with this wonderful contraption in our bathroom called the 'mona lisa'. it's an all in one tub with steambath,sauna, jacuzzi, rainshower,jet shower and even a radio with 20 stations haha (see remote) we had our own diy spa right there. they agreed it'd be the perfect 50th bd gift if i make it haha
- bunch of merchandise arrived, like the double-lounger and my hoodie sweater in homage to Lost! tg i got the XS coz it's still a little loose
- seeing them nua on the new couch reading their latest books. it's good to know in personal adversity i can still make others smile. and damn good read from the college library which i always get first dibs at being the purchasing officer! it's an assortment of short stories from classic to contemporary writers and perfect for someone with a short attention span
- drifting into a delicious nap on the velvety sand was a surreal moment of healing and peace.i haven't had such a serene experience since falling asleep beside shariene one rainy afternoon when we refused to budge while everyone else was running for shelter
- i've lost 3kg since the accident haha.who needs a diet plan
